Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream – Plantation Walk
This was a fun project we completed in 2022 at Plantation Walk for Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream—a growing franchise known for its made-to-order desserts (and clouds of nitrogen that definitely turn a few heads).
The space was about 1,300 square feet and required a full commercial HVAC buildout from the ground up.
Built for a Busy Dessert Spot
Ice cream shops might seem simple, but behind the scenes, they need solid airflow, proper ventilation, and reliable cooling—especially in Florida.
For this location, we handled the full HVAC installation, including:
- New ductwork throughout the space
- Exhaust fans and ventilation systems
- Rooftop unit (RTU) installation
- New roof curb
- Registers and grilles for balanced airflow
Everything was designed to keep the space comfortable for customers and staff—because no one wants to enjoy ice cream in a room that feels like a sauna.
About Plantation Walk
This project was located in Plantation Walk, one of Broward County’s newer mixed-use developments designed to bring together living, working, and entertainment in one walkable space.
With a mix of apartments, retail, restaurants, and office space, it’s built to feel like a modern-day neighborhood—where everything is within reach and always active.
Projects in environments like this require careful coordination, especially when multiple businesses are being built out at the same time.
From One Location to Three
Chill-N is a franchise, and after completing this Plantation location, we were brought back to continue working with them.
We went on to complete additional locations in:
- Pembroke Pines
- Pompano Beach
We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue working together and enjoyed being part of bringing these additional locations to life.
